Licking, drinking and twisting…

As a blogger I get some lovely requests to run competitions and some get me rather excited.  This competition is one of them..

As a reader you get the chance to win a Lick Race Kit:  Flip Camera with tripod, some rather yummy Oreo biscuits, and some children safe tumblers!

Me and my brood have taken part in ‘The Lick Race’. The lovely people at Oreo gave us our very own flip camera and cookies to film ourselves competing in the race.

It’s a simple concept, you just get two family members competing to finish an Oreo first by following three basic steps…

Twist. Lick. Dunk

First you twist, then you lick the creme filling, then once you have shown the ‘clean’ biscuit to your opponent you dunk it in cold milk.  Next you eat the biscuit and finally, you drink your milk.

After filming your race, you need to pop over to www.oreolickrace.co.uk and be entered for a chance to win a rather fabulous family trip to Florida or to win a daily prize of a Nintendo Wii giveaway.

The Lick race ends on July 31st so you need to get uploading now, it is rather good fun!

In order to win your very own Lick Race kit, inclusive of flip camera all you need to do is leave a comment on this blog with a way of contacting you.  The competition ends on Sunday July 24th at 12 noon and will be drawn and announced by the end of the day.  The winner will be chosen by a random number generator.

As an additional incentive for every lick race video uploaded to the site, Oreo will donate a pound to the children’s charity KidsOut.

So off you pop – go and check out the different races and submit your entry over at www.oreolickrace.co.uk

To win your own race kit please leave a comment…..

*Competition open to UK residents only, if the winner does not contact me with address details with 24 hours I reserve the right to select a new winner

AND THE WINNER IS COMMENT NO: 30 – JAMES!  x x x

  1. we love oreos, they are a biscuit that looks like it shouldnt’ taste good and yet does. this looks like a great game to play with my son 😉

  2. Great comp, I wish my daughter would listen to me enough to join in the Lick Race, all she’ll do with Oreos is eat them and leave chocolatey crumbs everywhere! I can try though, right?

  3. Ooh I haven’t had an Oreo in a while…might have to nip down the shops for..umm..essentials! 😀 Fab game idea!!

  4. This is hilarious, I love the creativity of the Twist, Lick, Dunk competition. Can’t wait to see entries and try it out 😉

I’ll probably end up eating half the package on my own in the process …

  5. My entry has disappeared… 🙁

But here we go again…. I have now put on lots of weight as when I saw the word Oreo I started to eat Oreos… We <3 Oreos in this house…

  6. Oreos really are the most wretched biscuit, both horridly dry and sickly sweet, with all the flavour of cardboard. I don’t know how they make something that is mostly sugar and fat taste so bad. And any biscuit which comes with eating instructions is ridiculous. However, I would like a nice Flip camera, please Jane, so please enter me in the compo.

  7. Ooh pick me, pick me random generator! We don’t really need an excuse to eat Oreos in this house though! Right off to practice…. :Po (that’s me practicing the licking bit)

  8. I love Oreos, I won I packet of the once and ate the whole pack in one oooopps! I break them, lick them and eat the biscuit!

  9. I love Oreos. We made surprise Oreos for a party last year. We twisted them all apart and scraped (not licked) off the filling, then we refilled them with other fillings and put them back together. As a party game people had to guess the fillings.

  10. i love Oreos. Last year for a party game we twisted loads of oreos apart and scraped (not licked) off the filling, then we refilled them with other fillings. As a party game people had to guess the new fillings.

  11. We’re in a divided household here. 3 boys – they can’t get enoughof the Oreos! take time to twist, lick, dunk… Nope it’s just open gob & munch away for them! Me, well I can’t stand them, i’m the same with many kinda but not chocolate things, and I can’t even get near them! #eachtotheirown

  12. Oreo’s remind me of holidays & a Flip would be very handy on holidays so many it’s all meant to be?

  13. Wouldn’t it be fun if lick race contestants dressed as bananas? Just a thought. Would love to win. My life is kinda empty without a flip camera. Thanksxxx

  14. Oooh… Me, me, me!!

I’m from Canada and growing up in the UK I always felt deprived of Oreos. Thank goodness they sell them here now too!! Nom, nom, nom. Count me in for a lovely flip cam too.

  15. OOh lovely prize, please include me, would love to win this to race my eldest against her dad, might be the only thing she will be able to beat him on.
