Easter began with a yell of surprise as the lop eared bunny came and left an impressive haul of chocolate in the garden three days early. The children had been worried for days that because we weren’t going to be at home on Easter morning they would be simply forgotten by the chocolate rabbit and left to wait for the next year.
BB tackled her first Easter hunt standing on her own two legs, which caused tiny tears to gather on my cheeks as I remembered the year previous.
Easter Sunday was spent partying on down at an Aunt’s 30th birthday party.
Where one of my daughters hit the dance floor and literally danced until she dropped, the smaller one realised she could never compete and set about composing her next literary classic.
So far, the Easter holidays have been pretty good!
Aw, lovely. That´s how holidays should be. Love the photos, especially the one of the three of them together at the party. They just look so happy and close-knit.
it’s a lovely post and it doesn’t look s****. Your photos are in focus and everything. You are the next Peonies and Polaroids. totes amaze as the young people say.
Lovely, lovely post – so lovely to see BB on both her feet finding eggs. Sounds like you all had a fab time.
Wonderful on so many levels x
Beautiful post, beautifully written. I have been thinking of family a lot lately – especially the old days. This was such a great reminder of those days.
