On travel…
Over the last year I have worked with Jane a few times after contacting her to review one of the hotels that makes up my client Choice Hotels. Her first stay was at The Cliffs Hotel and we were so impressed with her work and more importantly, my client was so impressed with her work, that we asked her to review a second hotel in the chain, this time in the Lake District.
Working with Jane, and professional bloggers like her, has allowed us to reach out to an audience in one of the best ways possible – through a truthful review of an experience. When a blogger visits Choice hotels we know that the opinions they share are honest, informative and presented in an interesting way.
From working with Jane I can say she is very thorough, likes to have as much information as possible before she conducts a review and commits pen to paper, is quick to respond to any queries and does all she can to promote the blog post she has composed.
With more than 6,000 followers on Twitter and almost 2,000 on Facebook, my client has also benefitted from a wider audience reach. What Jane posts is engaging and encourages those that follow her work to comment, share and retweet which is great for a PR who is trying to demonstrate to a client why working with bloggers is something we should incorporate into a campaign. After all they write about what they want to write about and not because an editor has told them to.

I have worked with Jane on several press trips and she has responded with superb articles that are always engaging, insightful and amusing – stories that we have been happy to feature on our own website, as well as benefiting from the web traffic generated by Jane.

We worked with Jane on a press trip for our client Al Fresco Holidays. Jane was a pleasure to work with and posted a series of blog posts on her holiday quickly after her return including all of the relevant information we had asked for. We would certainly recommend her for any suitable opportunities in the future.

On reviews…
Hi Jane,
What I can offer
I can offer social media support, copy skills, guest blogging, SEO copy, and editorial skills. I speak at events regarding blogging and parenting issues and am happy to discuss this further.
Please contact me onnorthernmum@gmail.com to discuss rates and availability.
To advertise on northernmum either by sponsored content, sidebar advertising or product reviews please have a look at my disclosure page. Please note I don’t host guest content or press releases for free and I get a little bit grumpy when asked to do so.
Who am I?
I am mother, writer and trainer. I have three lovely children, twins and a beautiful girl. We have had our share of health problems in the last couple of years and I use this space to share our experiences and keep my sanity. I write a lot about type1 diabetes and Hip Dyplasia and I try whenever possible to make my readers laugh.
I find parenting my biggest challenge so far, and to avoid drowning in a bottle of gin I vent my frustrations on the written page. However the truth be told, I adore my children, my manic working life and look forward to waxing lyrical about my life and family for many years to come.
