It has not been the best of days,
We are ready for Christmas, the presents are wrapped, the turkey is waiting for its moment of glory and the chocolates are waiting to be scoffed.
A guide to surviving the six week holidays… I am sure most of you have noticed by the lack of traffic on the road and the increase in gin sales …
It has not been the best of days,
We are ready for Christmas, the presents are wrapped, the turkey is waiting for its moment of glory and the chocolates are waiting to be scoffed.
Its here, it has finally arrived. Hours, days, weeks of waiting have passed. Sometimes the agony of being patient has been almost too much to bear but my endurance has finally paid off and it has come.
Its a strange feeling; from tomorrow onwards I am going to experience something completely alien to me and he who helped create them. From tomorrow onwards for two whole weeks we are going to be living with only one child.

Day Two,
Twin boys diary entry:
I went to the park, I was tired.
Twin girls diary entry:
I went on the climbing frame and the slide.
My entry:
Dear teacher,
The kids are spot on. They did all of the above. My day was fabulous. I awoke at 6.06, fed BB then pulled on my clothes and painted my face in an attempt to erase the worry lines I had gained the day before. It was one of those mornings where the impossible occurred and twin boy was still asleep at 7.01. At 7.16 I could contain myself no more and dove into his room crying ‘revenge is sweet my child; it’s waking up time!’
